British Values

At Greenhill, we take our duty to ‘actively promote’ the fundamental British values of 'democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs' very seriously. The teaching of British Values sits most easily in our well-developed PSHE curriculum. However, it links through to other subjects such as the Ancient Greeks in history (Year 4) or as an integral part of our Religious Education curriculum. At Greenhill, we aim to facilitate the well-balanced development of respectful, tolerant and understanding British citizens of the future.
